VET

Beau vs. the Vet is really what this post should be called. For starters, now this little dog doesn't trust me when I put him in the car. Cause he thinks he's going back to *pardon my French* hell. So here are just some pictures I took, and obviously I couldn't take pictures of him like on the table or anything, that would be weird.
On the way there

We got out, and other dogs were barking and freaking him out honestly. He probably thought I was taking him back to where I got him or something!

The cats at home don't play with him, and neither did this one.

In the exam room.

Sniffing around...

The treats were up there (;

Okay this is so wrong but its hilarious. The stuck thermometer in his....you know, and he freaked out. Literally, he tried to bite the vet. He kept sniffing his butt and I was cracking up laughing!

Leaving. After two shots.

He was NOT happy.

I couldn't say I blame him though. Poor Beau....

FETCH

I suppose Beau has always like fetch, but recently he's shown a really profound love for it. Its so cute. The ball can't fit in his mouth so it kind of hangs out the side, which is hilarious. By the way, these are from yesterday, and I will post again tonight because Beau has his very first vet appointment. Well I guess not very first, because he had one before we got him, but his first with me. He'll be getting two shots, and they are supposed to make him drowsy..which doesn't bug me because he already is sleepy all the time. I've tried to make an effort to go outside and play with him for about 30 minutes. Because A) We don't have a road/sidewalk to walk him, B) Its a little weird walking a dog on a leash in your yard, C) There isn't a close by park that is doggy friendly.
At my dad's house we do have a larger area to walk our dogs. We have a pond that Beau and his "Aunt" Jazzy swim in, and all of the neighbors walk their dogs constantly. We haven't been outside recently though due to the fact that Oklahoma can't decide whether its winter or summer. Personally I'm ready for winter/fall. Thats my favorite! I can't believe its almost been a year that I've had this blog...even though I don't post THAT often. I'm trying hard too! I've found a time during the day that I have nothing to do, so I write drafts on here and then post them. ( Instead of watching American Horror Story ).

Back to Beau, he's kinda fat, he's lazy, and floppy. I love him so dang much its crazy. I think getting a pet isn't just about it being cute or having something to dress up. It really shows responsibility in a person, especially if it lives. That sounded really morbid, but I know someone who's boyfriend got them a dog and they had it for maybe a few weeks and it died...why? No parvo vaccine. Smart right? Its called responsibility...now this girl wants ANOTHER animal...and I'm just sitting here thinking "What's it going to be this time? Rabies?" Keep in mind this girl also wants a "purebred chihuahua with spanish roots". Excuse me, but there are millions of SHELTER pets who want YOU! They want to be loved just as much as a purebred chihuahua...not anything against those little yapping terrors, but I'd rather have something special than something pedigreed.

Okay sorry off topic, back to fetching...

FALLING

As the season is slowly changing back to fall I'm slowly reflecting on some things. Its crazy to think that just last fall I was struggling with classes and getting depressed. Fast forward to now, life is so easy going. College is great, family is great, life is great. I haven't posted in forever, I've been busy with youtube...which most of you know....Last fall I started this blog with the intentions of blogging everyday, and I started it because of my little puppy Beau. Thats really what this all is about. I never knew that something would love me so much...he is totally in sync with EVERYTHING I do. He knows when I wake up, he knows that after I straighten my hair, we can have a little bit of fun, he knows that when my mom is packing lunches that he might get some turkey. He knows when I'm stressed or upset, because the second I get all mad, I hear a little jump off the bed ( more like a flop ), a pause ( him stretching ), and then a little pitter of paws across the hardwood floor, and a jump into my lap. Keep in mind this dog is 46 inches long, from the tip of his tail to the end of his nose, he is most certainly NOT a little lap dog anymore. I guess I have myself to blame for his constant attention-seeking personality. When he was a puppy all I could do was stare at him and want him on me, in my arms or right next to me. He's slowly growing out of that though. He has gone from sleeping RIGHT next to me to sleeping at the foot of my bed curled up into a ball. I've come to face the realization that he isn't a puppy anymore...unfortunately.
I know it seems silly, most people write blogs about their kids or something "actually important", but honestly Beau and Lilly are important to me. They are my kids, they are the only "things" that love me unconditionally all the time, no matter what, and are never mad at me. I don't care if people say that this blog is just dumb because all it is is about a girl and her dogs. Because it's not just about the dogs. Its about responsibility, discipline, love, and learning. Lets just take a minute and examine the name of this blog..
"Lillybeau & Co."
Lilly- This is obvious, the first dog.
Beau- This is another obvious one, the second dog.
& Co.- Anyone and everyone involved in anything I do. Whether its Shayne, my mom, Mackenzie, or some guy on the street...its what I want to put on here.
With that being said you can call me dramatic, for writing paragraphs about my animals, or about my animals things...but this is my blog, and obviously with 2,000 views just last month alone...I'm doing something right.
Here are some updated pictures of my BABY.

Like I said, don't judge me. I'm a little obsessed with him.
